Current Position: He is currently the Managing Director/Principal Consultant with MiraMonitor Consulting Limited headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria (www.cficnig.com).
Research Interests and Career: He has worked with Population Services International, Washington DC, and The Guttmacher Institute, New York. Core substantive areas include HIV/AIDS, Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), Reproductive Health, Family Planning, Malaria Prevention, and Census Implementation. Since graduation, his career part has been in the development market place where he has substantial experience cutting across several countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe where he provided technical assistance in the areas of research, monitoring and evaluation of development projects. He has provided technical assistance, and conducted baseline, mid-term, and end-line evaluations on over 30 projects. Some clients that he has provided consultancy services to include Global Health Technical Assistance Project, USAID/Nigeria, EU, FHI, FHI/360, Catholic Relief Services, World Bank, SOFRECO in France, and several Ministries, Department & Agencies in Nigeria among others. He was one of the team of experts that conducted end-line evaluation of the PEPFAR Track I OVC projects in 15 countries. He was one of the EU senior experts for the 2006 Nigeria census. He has just successfully completed a 15-months operations research on an OVC project for Management Sciences for Health/Africare in Nigeria. An ongoing project that he coordinates is training/workshop in basic and advance monitoring and evaluation, basic and advance research for professionals, work ethics and accountability, and good governance and democracy.
