Jasmine Fledderjohann (2011)

Current Position: Professor of Sociology and Social Justice, Lancaster University, United Kingdom

Brief Bio: Broadly speaking, my research focuses on social justice and inequalities, particularly in the area of health and well-being. I examine 1) food security and nutrition and 2) sexual and reproductive health around the globe. I am currently a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow. My fellowship examines the measurement and sociocultural correlates of food insecurity in Ethiopia, India, Peru, and Vietnam.

Penn State's Demography program: The dual-title degree made me much more marketable when searching for quantitative research posts.
