Current Position: Director of Biostatistics, Vigil Neuro
Brief Bio: I joined the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington in 2012 as a postdoctoral fellow and focused on developing and applying statistical techniques in the field of public health. My published research areas include methods for handling missing data, longitudinal data analysis, and risk prediction models. Various research projects (1) examined heart disease risk calculators that are used by medical doctors to guide treatment for the prevention of adverse cardiovascular events and (2) investigated techniques for harmonizing demographic survey data from 22 national and international studies of criminal justice and vulnerable populations. Recently I have led several data science teams for private firms and the federal government.
