Current Position: Research Scientist
Brief Bio: Since joining the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington in 2012, I have focused on developing and applying statistical techniques in the field of public health. My published research areas include methods for handling missing data, longitudinal data analysis, and risk prediction models. I am currently working on several projects evaluating the heart disease risk calculators that are used by medical doctors to guide treatment for the prevention of adverse cardiovascular events. I am also working on techniques for harmonizing demographic survey data from 22 national and international studies of criminal justice and vulnerable populations.
